Quick note to teachers: The pace of this book is ambitious. If you are having a difficult time keeping pace, know that you are not alone. I think we're all feeling that reading the weekly sections, discussing them, AND connecting with other classes by watching and recording responses each week is nearly impossible without rushing it. There is no rush! Please respond to these prompts whenever works for you. It's fine if it is two or more weeks after the official reading week. To me, the great value in this experience is in reading, sharing, and building on thoughts about the book with others from around the world, showing that we are all connected and can relate to one another. Don't let the timeline restrict you.
This week there are two options for responses. The first is a FlipGrid Discussion, similar to what you've been doing in previous week (See #1 Below) and the other option is to share observable moments of kindness from the novel (See #2 Below).
